School Avoidance Program is now in full force, actively supporting students across Arizona.
This program goes beyond traditional support by directly addressing the emotional and mental health challenges that prevent students from attending school regularly. It is designed to foster a critical partnership in getting students back on track.

I couldn’t be prouder of our SkillsUSA construction students for their incredible performance in Friday’s two-person building event. SMHS had nine teams competing, and out of 28 total teams, we brought home 2nd and 3rd place!
A huge congratulations to Bryson LeGrand + Athan Reikofski for earning 2nd place and Nick Perez + Priscila Hernandez for earning 3rd place. Their hard work and skill truly stood out.
Beyond the awards, I’m proud of all nine of our teams for their dedication, teamwork, and perseverance. Every team finished their project despite the grueling challenge of building in a parking lot all day. Their efforts are a testament to their craftsmanship and determination. If you see any of these students around, please tell them congratulations.
Well done, Miners!

Very proud of our CTE woods students who have competed in competitions and produced some excellent work!
