Learn More About Us
The Tri-Community Area
San Manuel, Arizona, has a history dating back to 1953. An old mining town, San Manuel operated one of the largest copper and smelter mines in North America. Our community served to house over 2,000 miners and related field workers. The San Manuel Copper Mine closed in 1999, and now our town is a small bedroom community continuing to serve our local families.
Here at Mammoth-San Manuel Unified, we have approximately 600 students enrolled in pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade at our Mammoth-San Manuel PreK-12 School. Our school serves students in the tri-community towns of Oracle, Mammoth, and San Manuel. We employ approximately 100 teachers and staff, and we are the largest employer in the area.
Our Mission, Vision and Values
Mammoth-San Manuel PK–12 is committed to empowering students through strong academics while fostering kindness, confidence, and community responsibility. The District prepares students for college, career pathways, and lifelong contribution.
The vision emphasizes developing confident, compassionate learners prepared for success in a diverse and evolving world.
